Northern Maine fall colours!

#1 Postby will » Sat Sep 20, 2003 10:10 pm

Hey,
I was out a few days ago, I believe it was thursday, when I took some pictures of the beginnings of the fall colours up here in the St John Valley of extreme northern Maine.
I've put them up on my website, this is actually the first time I've displayed my website to anyone, and if you want to see them, follow the link I provide and on the front page, click at the bottom and read the update.

Like I said, this is the first I've shown my website, it is entirely under construction and thus there is a significant amount of dead ends and other such things.
I do intend to fix these soon.
Keep checking too, as my wife and I will be updating the site on a regular basis with pictures and everything.

So...drum roll -- here it is:
http://www.northwoodswx.com

also, I have pictures that are significantly more representative of the beauty of this region under the images section of my website. The ones I took of fall colours were really hastily done as it was raining and I was in a rush to get them done before classes.
I intend to get more done tommorrow as it should be sunny.

Very nice pics Will. You live in a very beautiful area, although it's a little too far north for me. Our winters are long enough down here in PA.

Thanks for the compliments everyone:)

I'm gonna be updating my page fairly often so check back every once in a while. I'll definitely keep it up to date straight through the winter, too, for anyone wanting to follow winter up here. In fact, I updated it again today.

Thanks again!

Hmmm....awwwww...Yes, it reminds me of my one year of school in Northern Vermont. Absoultely beautiful up there. I wish I could get back there again and to enjoy the colors and all that. One day, I will. But for now, these pictures will do. Thanks for posting them Will.

Your home town is truly beautiful! It reminds me alot of the interior section of Kwa-zulu with all the beautiful hills (of course it does not get so cold!)
(thats South Africa fyi) ;)
