The 18Z RGEM is showing decent snowfall accumulations along I-35 in northern Texas, and it even appears to be too slow with the front.

Time to make sure there is room in the garage for the car..... Just in case. More concerned about hail and high wind than anything else at this point (in Austin anyway)

I hope our fences stay up - seems like every windstorm this fall knocked down a post or two ... going to be too cold to replace posts this week...

Zones for Tarrant and Denton county say snow accumulation up to one inch. Things are starting to get interesting.

Strange how the isolated, possibly tornadic storms are east and west of the DFW metroplex, and even north and south but none in the immediate metro area. Is there something atmospherically causing that right over the metro or is it just luck of the draw?

Good news. The warning for Burnet has been allowed to expire early.

Spoke too soon. New warning is up for northern half of Burnet.

Storm is weakening though so I don't think it will be of a concern much longer.

Things are getting interesting in western Travis County.

Don't tease me! I know it's not spring yet.

That's a heck of a front in the panhandle. Northerly winds gusting over 50 mph.

Those storms south of the metro could be problematic if they hold together.. Any reports?

Nothing significant happening in Austin itself. I'm assuming the cap has held on over the city.
