^^Wow. That's impressive, SnowintheFalls. Nice pic.

Returns are getting tantalizingly close to west Sherman. Bring it.

Getting some light rain here with temps in the mid 40s. Snow looks good near the Red River.
Today is a very good day to use the mping app to report your precip type.

Graupel and mist has turned into a nice little flurry here in the last half hour. I'll get pics if it sticks to anything. Current temp @ 36. MOAR!

Plus there is a cluster of thunderstorms now forming in the gulf off the coast. The ULL is transferring energy into the ULL into SE Texas and surface low in the GOM. Northern area of precip will dry out due to the cutoff.

Some light rain finally starting to fall here in Irving. Temp has dropped a couple degrees but other than that not much to write home about.
Oh, and by the way, nice pics from Wichita Falls earlier. Especially the one with the thick, heavy flakes. DFW dreaming.

Still snowing in Sherman even though I'm seeing reports of rain on all my sources. Thought it was dying out but we got another decent burst. Steady 35° though - nothing sticking... :(

Anyone in Grayson County getting any accumulation?

I'm just now seeing any pattern that would bring down enough cold air for any significant snow south of the Red River and/or the Panhandle over the next 2 weeks. The cold air (what little there is) drains out of Canada to the southeast over the next week. By the end of the month, temps are well above normal just about everywhere.

Snow has pretty much stopped here except for a few flurries. Sun is starting to come out and melt it al away. It was pretty while it lasted!

Beautiful big flakes here right now and coming down at a good pace. Too bad it won't last long.

Sun is out while it's still snowing. Don't see that often.

Yeah, Don. It was the same here. Had to call it when it was back to graupel. Almost like it didn't want to quit. Too bad about the surface temps. 3 1/2 hours and it looks like it's just been raining...

At least Yukon and SnowintheFalls got some nice ground cover!

I know Accu Weather is one of the worst forecast to look at long range, but seeing it could be in the mid 60s when I go to San Antonio at the end of the month disgust me. :x

I'm on the other end of this storm. We are on the Carnival Magic headed back to Galveston, near 26.3n/90.5w. We've been experiencing sustained winds of 55 to 65 mph for the last hour and a half and had about 5 minutes of winds sustained at just over 70 mph.

Left Cozumel about 7pm last night. We are already running behind schedule about 4 hours due to having to turn around and head towards Cancun due to a medical emergency onboard. The Mexican Navy met our ship about 1:45 this morning and removed the passenger about 20 miles offshore from Cancun.

Actually surprised at how well the ship is handling the winds and seas. We are on deck 11 in the front and during the 70 mph winds there was little rocking although the wind noise was very loud. It's become a bit rougher now as time goes by though.
