alicia-w, thank you for the link to E city. Nothing current on the site but we know E city was hard hit.

There is also station in Buxton and there is/was a station
in Hatteras. If the ferry terminal is gone.. that Hattas USCG Station must be history, too. But, I can find nothing anywhere about the cg.

Every time I see those pictures of the new pass that cut through the island, I have the same question: Were there houses on that strip of land or was it vacant? I know a lot of houses were swept out to sea but were some of them from this area? Thanks
