Looks like central africa has a bomb inside it, could be a sign of a potentially good signal for strong tropical wave activity come June

The itcz seems to be quite a bit more active than it has been in quite some time, I would like to know how that were to pertain to the 2016 hurricane season

I heard that the Western Indian Ocean was forecast to have above normal Precipitation this summer, that could IMO lead to a more moist airmass over Africa(including the Saharan Desert) which would possibly lead to less SAL outbreaks over the Eastern half of the Atlantic.

It could lead to a healthy mdr in the hurricane season that's if shear isn't too bad from the EPAC mdr being warmer than normal
