We had a lull during this season. Maybe the Atlantic or Caribbean is gathering it strength for one more good storm! :o

I don't believe the lull in the tropics will last too much longer, either.

Lets hope for one week of calmness before we have to track another system.

I am still worried about our friends in VA who were hit by isabel.

I think the lull will last for about one more week.

Having a lull in the season in recent years has given birth to a great storm afterwards.

i.e
1998 - Lisa died October 10, Mitch born October 22
1999 - Katrina died November 1, Lenny born November 13.

You get the drift the longer between storms sometimes gives a late strong storm.

This is a well-needed lull - especially for those hit hard by Isabel. I do expect at least 2 more named storms this season, so we certainly can't take our eyes off the tropics completely.

I agree that it is a lull that was needed for those affected by Isabel.. but I hate when the tropics are quiet lol
