:uarrow: I thought we were using the Florida Weather Thread for such reports. That thread is the official Florida Thread anyway. I had already started posting NWS AFDs from around the state on that thread and other products :uarrow:

Bay News Channel 9 in Tampa received a report of 41 mph wind gust in Lakeland from a rainband which moved through there within the past half hour. The added daytime heating is definitely contributing to agitate the atmosphere and further create more instability to cause severe weather. This will be a big problem the next 36 hours over the peninsula.

Looks like we have a new band off of Ft. Myers heading north. Let' see if it holds together as it approaches the Tampa Bay area or just offshore.

Steady light to medium rain in Citrus County area now. Not much wind. Folks are making preparations for possible flooding near the coast and in Crystal River. Sure need the rain -- but not 5 to 10 inches!
