Not out of the question but I'm not seeing that at all. I see no surface or mid level circulation on visible satellite at this time nor any evidence of model support either. This wave will certainly add to the rich moist feed out of the Gulf and into Texas and the N. Gulf coast though.

The 12z rgem shows what looks like a little something out of this into central texas coast in 48 hrs

Campeche has a pressure of 1009 and Merida is at 1012 both with east winds.

Just a moisture surge associated with a tropical wave, will move quickly towards TX by Tuesday morning.

It will need to watched if it moves into the boc for sure, looking at surface plots there appears to be dying front in the boc. genesis modeling has the lpa closed in the boc. Features can tend to spin up quickly in that area,EC ens also had a lpa in the boc.
