So we should remember, while the odds of this happening are pretty darn slim the GFS is sniffing out more favorable conditions for disturbances nearing the US.

... and, ironically, remnants appear to move right over Cincinnati. Come on GFS, I guess if you're going to make up a monster you might as well go all in.

The thing that I see not too credible on this 12z run is despite moving thru tall mountains of Hispanola and hugging the Cuban coast,it still mantains as a strong TS/Cat 1.

Starting to wonder if the GFS might actually be caving towards the previous Euro runs. First track then intensity wise later runs.
