Through 96 hours on the 0z Euro, it's a bit stronger and southwest of the 12z run.

Re: ATL: INVEST 99L - Models
Thus far the Euro and HWRF align remarkably well, with the Euro just a tad faster.

Actually it follows exactly what Katrina did as it was intensifying when it came ashore at the Broward/Dade line.
Katrina wasn't nearly as deep as this model projection is but it took the same SW dive as it came inland.
HWRF has landfall near Homestead.

Re: ATL: INVEST 99L - Models
interesting; on the resolution i'm looking at the 120 hr. nearly appears as if the storm moved just south of due west across S. Fla. and into the SE Gulf as a 992mb system

Pretty similar track to Hurricane Katrina as it crossed South Florida.

Re: ATL: INVEST 99L - Models
It's definitely going to be a shift west in the final landfall on this run. It's in the middle of the Gulf at 144 hours moving WNW.
