Winds only 20 MPH so has to be 30 for upgrade to TD. They probably say its still just a wave

Yeah is weakish and elongated, but of interest is the 10kt westerlies on the ascat.

I think the circulation is becoming more prevalent. It is showing up with the AVN floater image which a lot of times it is hard to determine a circulation with it.

It has been stressed many times that this system was not going to look any better tonight.
Don't be surprised it is a "mess" at the moment. All attention will be needed when it gets pass Florida and Cuba into the Gulf

Low is closed if it stays that way up to 2 PM tomorrow it should be upgraded to at least a TD.

I actually think it's looking better. land based convection is dying off as expected...but the convection near the low looks a bit more organized and there's at least some hint of curvature..
