T.D. #16 GETTING BETTER ORGANIZED
I just saw the latest Infrared Image of T.D#16 at the Naval Research Laboratory Web site and the depression is looking more and more like the next tropical storm. Also, I noticed a more westward movement. Any comments or opinions?

My opinion is if it stays at a low latitud it might not be a fish after all but it all depends on if it begins to climb in latitud soon.

Have you seen the monster ridge GFS and CMC is building. Yes, it is a surface ridge, though it may serve to prevent an out to sea movement.
Also, GFS's recurvature is complete dung, IMO. Systems this low moving to the west usually do not radically recurve. I do not see a big trough dropping down to do the trick this time
