Would NHC still be getting the data?

Impressive feederband getting closer to Pinellas in the Clearwater area...this may pack a punch folks if it can make it.

I'm in Belleview. We had some nasty ones go through a bit ago. There was a tornado warning in North lake and south marion with it. So even if it's not at you yet, they will be.

Better chance for inclement weather there near Gainesville. Worst has past us, I think, in Ocala. We'll see. Hunker down. I worked at the University for 25 years, and lived in High Springs.

I really want to send a prayer out there for anybody who is being impacted by Hermine and I really hope everybody stays safe, I know we have tons of users in Florida, I feel bad watching this from the comforts of my house on Long Island  (although Hermine may pay me a visit on Sunday  )

nearly have a solid eyewall.. still has a few hours over water and plenty of time to deepen more once that core closes off.

Going to stay up as long as I can through Hermine's passage. The tornado risk and heavy bands will keep me awake...

If no other data comes in, then 80 kt would be my intensity guess based on continued intensification after the plane left.
