Did someone mention Bones? The low-level swirl is slowly dissipating. Just about zero chance of a recovery (0.05%).

So you're saying there's a chance? ;-)

I still see the low level swirl at 33.0N, 77.0W moving ENE or NE. Granted it is very weak, but I think it still exists and there's lots of convection just to its south.
By the way, the 12Z GFS for hour 6 (2 PM EDT) has this onshore in NC. That is not at all happening. She is 100 miles SE of that position.

I agree that Julia is still near dead based on visible loops but whatever pulse she has is still offshore. I expect it won't matter since she barely exists now. Never question the team of 57 and Bones. When they agree, you can bank on it. May she rest in peace. She was more fun to track than any storm in a long time.

Julia doesn't believe in Bones.

Still spinning off Morehead City:

Julia just seems to love land for some reason. This is probably the best it's looked in days as far as convection goes, on essentially all sides of the center, which is pretty evident by surface observations.

I spy the remnant Julia low on radar clearly spinning over Hyde county, NC, and not moving much for now. Models suggest she will begin drifting SW later today. There's no chance for tropical development but it appears she'll remain intact and be a weathermaker (precip) as she moves back SW through Thursday.

She got semi-absorbed into the front, never made it north of Manteo. Now seems over Pamlico sound. Looks headed for Cape Lookout.

The remnant surface low of Julia is actually doing what models have been showing, moving back SW through eastern SC. It appears to now be a little NE of Charleston. No chance for tropical development.

I'm hoping this gets included in the NHC track, even if post-tropical/remnant low--it'll be interesting to see the full track of this.

Ex-Julia is still an entity as per radar! Look east of Charleston, SC. Amazing stuff!
