Circulation looks somewhat broad but closed

I was hoping I was wrong but it did indeed miss the circulation. Does anybody know when the next flight is?

If that is the case then it's time to call it. Wind and pressure already support TD if not TS.

From the last post in the Recon thread, it looks like 7:30 AM EST.

I'm on vacation so I don't have any time for this. Return Saturday, then I'll wail a gnash my teeth.

In fact, it's not even that close to being closed at the moment. We have southeasterly winds where we should have southwesterlies

last hour or so looks like a low level circ is taking shape roughly here with the recent convection building. the MLC is to the NE but not far.

recon takes off in soon at least according to the plan of the day. if they canceled it then it was not mentioned. if so the not 930Z take off is next one.

its quite likely. watch the convection in that area over the next few hours. a LLC can form or migrate anywhere some sustained convection builds. but looking at the low level cloud lines and inflow that area has the most vorticity. of course given it being night time can see the lowest levels but still
850mb ish.
