Will it ever be classified as tropical storm Kate? Well depends if the LLC is not displaced from the convection but as stormsfury said in another thread maybe there are signs of consolidation but we will see what happens if it is named or not in comming days.

Hmmm.. We may end up having Kate in the Caribbean and not the open Atlantic. TD 16 doesn't look too impressive and like the NHC says "Not forecast to strengthen".. such a shame too.. cause it's right on the border of TS Status
