Look like it is making its awaited move to the NW!

I wonder that blob could affect the short term track or not. Imagine the center tries to "capture" those convections and causes the short term track to be more northward/north-northeastward

If this was a weaker storm, most likely that would be the case. But the existing eye is very strong and well defined that it shouldn't change things too much in track.

Loop is back up after the skip. Looks to be moving NW now.

Matthew: Storm Conspiracy bestselling novel and movie trilogy coming by summer 2018.
As if the horror of our current predicament (i.e. no new info and we're flying blind like Flash Gordon on a rocket cycle) wasn't bad enough, now I gotta worry about the Illuminati and the Trilateral Commission futzing with the weather on a global scale?
Thanks for helping to add yet another item to my list of things to worry about while I'm rockin' my tinfoil hat.

Re: ATL: MATTHEW - Hurricane - Discussion
As for the intensity, given the limited data, I think there is no basis to adjust it from the current 130 kt. I'd just leave it alone for now.
