I just saw her in the tropical update at 4:50 PM and she almost skipped the caribbean as she said all is quiet  and that took 5 seconds and then went to the EPAC and that is incredible as we are watching a developing system in the western caribbean.

Imagine John Hope right now doing the tropical updates everybody stops and looks paying attention on what he says but TWC is now very different when the tropics are concerned.

I saw that too
I don't like her anyway. she seems too scripted for me
but you know that unless and until something threatens the USA, they skip over things

Agreed it's no threat right now..but even our local..said we'd watch it..because this time of year is when systems threaten the west coast of florida :o The weather channel..misses JOHN HOPE..I am sure...I sure do

I don't watch TWC anymore for tropical information. They are practically useless cause I think a lot of their On camera people don't know much if anything.

I only look on the computer or sometimes see what the local mets say.

Well... that doesn't surprise me. We shall see how their coverage goes in a day or two. So much for "keeping us ahead of the storm".

Kristen either needs to start reading the latest NHC TWO ....or begin reading this forum to keep herself ahead of the game.

Since John Hope died TWC's coverage of the tropics has been a joke.

TWC veteran Jeanetta Jones is the only one with any real savvy and she doesn't do enough tropics. She's been with TWC since day one.
