Trees are a wonderful thing....they have a habit of growing back. And the waste generated by paper products will rot back into the ground producing a natural decomposition process therefore composting and feeding the new trees growing in their place. Unlike plastic which takes eons to decompose back into the soil. (sorry, I know that is off subject) [end of rant]

So true!! I was just trying to translate what was said about the trees. You left out something in your rant blizzard. And that is cigarette butts. One cigarette butt takes about 7 years to decompose.

Have to agree. last spring kids had a clean up day around school, they picked up an estimated 2000 butts in an hour and a half.
