Juan Death toll= at least 1
Well, Juan has already killed at least 1 if you read "montrealboy's" post with the article about the ambulance driver.
Hopefully nobody died in that building collapse

At least one dead as Hurricane Juan lashes N.S.
CTV.ca News Staff
An emergency worker was killed in downtown Halifax early Monday when a tree fell on an ambulance as hurricane Juan whipped Nova Scotia, bringing 130 km/h winds and torrential rains. A Darmouth apartment building also collapsed, trapping at least one person.
The tree fell on the ambulance near the Queen Elizabeth Two Health Sciences Centre -- the main hospital in downtown Halifax.
An official with the Halifax Regional Municipality confirmed the ambulance driver was killed but there were no further details.
A four-storey apartment building also collapsed in Darmouth. At least one person and as many as two were trapped, said a spokesperson for the municipality.
Have a good night everybody and be safe!

Hurricane Juan roared over Nova Scotia this weekend, killing at least two people and leaving 100,000 people without power.
A paramedic was killed when a tree fell on the ambulance he was driving just outside the Queen Elizabeth Two Health Sciences Centre -- the main hospital in downtown Halifax.
Another person died in the town of Enfield when a tree fell on a vehicle there.
A four-storey apartment building also collapsed in Dartmouth. At least one person and as many as two were trapped, said a spokesperson for the municipality.
Juan was downgraded to a tropical storm on Sunday, with winds of 139 kilometres an hour. It has passed over Prince Edward Island and there were no immediate reports of damage on the island.
It's a different story in Halifax, where fallen trees and downed power lines litter the streets. The waterfront has also sustained extensive damage.
A fishing schooner from Cape Cod has sunk at its berth and in Dartmouth, a number of small sail boats have reportedly been beached.
A state of emergency was declared for parts of Nova Scotia's eastern shore and mandatory evacuations were ordered for low-lying regions and the Halifax waterfront.
Halifax Mayor Peter Kelly said that if people don't have to go to work today, they shouldn't.

Two people were killed and 300,000 residents were without power as Hurricane Juan smashed into Nova Scotia's most densely populated area early Monday.
No one was badly injured when a small section of a four-storey residential complex in Dartmouth, N.S. caved in. A few people were trapped, but rescue workers got everyone out safely. Hundreds of residents, many of them seniors, were taken to a temporary shelter set up at a local hockey arena.

More than 100,000 without power in Nova Scotia and PEI this morning.
BTW, Canada does have a Canadian Hurricane Centre, located in Halifax. Why you ask? Because Atlantic Canada does get it's fair share of Hurricanes, Tropical Storms, and Extra-Tropical Storms. Heck, they even have their own (albeit quite small) Hurricane Hunter plane.
