Yep. It's been reactivated. SHIPS even has a Cat 1 hitting Florida.

The SHIPS stats are interesting. Plenty of warm water and light shear. Mediocre RH values (~50%).

well the models have been over doing the dry air ( clearly ) its has maintained despite all the lacking model runs. something is wrong..

I was doing some calculations, the ASCAT pass this morning should be able to catch at least its eastern circulation where most of the convection & stronger winds are.

ASCAT caught only the western edge (look around 22N/64W). No indication of any LLC on the image below. Like I said, if there is any LLC then it's too weak and disorganized for classification as anything but a tropical wave. Convection seems to be dropping off now.
