Re: ATL: FOUR - Remnants - Discussion
Imagine if the MLC works to the surface, AND the vort that got spit out west ended up developing in the Bahamas, what would those even be named if they developed? not at all saying that will happen, that sounds like something you would see at 240hrs on the CMC!

On the infrared Sat it looks much more circular than early. Most of the day it seemed elongated or tilted, and as others have mentioned a nice out flow.

Glad the NHC kept the floater on it..

The more I look at this the vortex to the west is still active. Need to vertically stack and draw that vort under the mid level convection.

The 18z GFS ensembles are the most enthusiastic they have been thus far.

Yes, I'm debating if I want to stay up to watch it or not, I guess I'll see up to about 108hours, and then determine if it's worth seeing the entertainment

I would be willing to bet that it will continue to show no development.

Yeah, me too, I sort of forgot that I was in the ex-04 thread instead of the tropical wave in the MDR thread

Convective pattern is not so great right now.. but neitjer was last night .. then this morning happened. Definitely at least for the time.being need to watch the wave axis and where the vort fired of convection earlier for best chance.
