I wish this Forum was Global Weather Patterns instead

#1 Postby Aquawind » Fri Sep 26, 2003 5:15 pm

I think it would be more valuable and active. Seeing the big picture is a very big part of weather forecasting and understanding. I would really like to hear and understand the regional patterns throughout the world and how they are part of the Global Patterns. Just seeing these EVENTS is not cutting it, seems like nobody cares..it's more like trivia..We have many ongoing patterns that could be discussed. 8-) Just MHO

I hear ya Chad.. I really appreciate the international members contributing and hope to see more of it. It just seems like very few people are reading the threads in this forum and Global Climatology is more interesting as I get older..LOL Trying to think outside the American Weather Box. 8-)

Events are cool but the reason for the event is as interesting to me. It still amazes me how many weather records are broken everyday in the US alone. :o

Your regional weather patterns would be a good start tropicalweatherwatcher.. :)

Aquawind - I too would like to read discussions on global weather patterns. When I used to read Joe Bastardi's column, he would sometimes discuss how weather in one part of the world could affect weather in the U.S. I always found this fascinating.

Mark, temperatures aren't bad for the beginning of Spring. :)

I access this and all the forums. I'll take part when I feel there is something I can add to. Like now. 8-)

Anything regarding global weather. Patterns, model forecasts, etc.

I'm definitely interested in our international posters weather and would love to see that discussed here.

I believe Mark (tropicalweatherwatcher) is asking Aquawind the kind of global weather patterns he or she
wanted to discuss in this forum. 8-) . :)

I am also interested in hearing information about the weather in other parts of the world. :)
