She will be a hurricane later today as it is entering warmer waters combined with less shear.

Looks like she's bookin' to the SW right now. At this rate she'll get south of 30N by tonight!!

Looks like its going to continue west and PROBABLY turn NW a few hundred miles before Bermuda.
If it can stay under 270...it may not be picked up and would continue strengthening and moving wsw.

Kate is just meandering for now. No concern to anyone besides maybe the Bermudans'. Other than that. Lets' just watch her as she turns..

Kate has been a good indicator of the accuracy of models and how cyclones react to conditions.
Intensity has been off all year in the Atlantic, it seems everything gets stonger than it was suppose to.

See the little yellow sliver where it was a hurricane? As it was making the NE turn all the models had it either dissapaiting or staying a TD where it would become a hurricane!
