Been glued to TWC for 2 hrs now, I don't think I've ever seen such a perfect eye making landfall in the US in the 21st century. This has to be greater than 130 Mph, Katrina struck around the same intensity and looked way more ragged than Harvey. Taking into account the unfortunate ordeal the storm chasers are going through, the appearance of Harvey on Satellite, and the perfect circle of the eye, I'd put the landfall intensity at high-end Cat 4, somewhere between 140 mph and 155 mph. Pressure probably 925-935 mbs. This beast is pulling an Andrew!

At least it shouldn't get to Cat 5 like Andrew, but is getting close fast.

That feed is incredibly intense. It reminds me a lot of the conditions that Charley was bringing at landfall.
