Since about noon, it's been strengthening the whole way. Once the eye got it's act together it was off to the races.

You're still in for a while, man. Bunker down, get a mattress, some water bottles, stay in the closet. DO NOT LEAVE until NWS says the storm is clear. Please, man, stay safe. You have the worst still to get through...man, just...stay safe, ok?

Most amazing landfall I have personally witnessed in terms of appearance for sure.

It seems to be moving west now. I thought that wasn't supposed to happen until landfall.

Those winds are only in the core of the eyewall. You're in a good spot in the bathroom, perhaps get a mattress if that makes you more confident, but I don't think they're coming for Victora just yet. Keep monitoring. Don't be scared.

943 in Rockport and not yet out of the eyewall. Likely around 930-935 at landfall.

This thing is barely moving...and maintaining strength. You can hear things flying around and hitting near Jeff...holy crud.

Pressure is probably in the 935 mb range I would guess based on Jeff P's 943 mb in the eyewall.
