Aren't high schools used as evacuation centers?

Pretty surreal for them being in the eye right now wow. And to think they still have to face the eastern eyewall. Harvey doesn't appear to be weakening yet considering the terrain.

The local news KIII-TV was on the verge of tears over what appears to have happened in Rockport.

if you listen closely filter out the wind over the microphone. but you can hear the roaring from the eyewall since its soo close.

I don't think Seidel is in the eyewall but conditions are getting much worse in Port Lavaca.

Local Houston TV weather (Channel 2, NBC affiliate) just showed that Houston could be getting significant rain overnight. Training bands of rain. Earlier today it looked like the worst of the rain was going to hold off until Sunday/Monday, so I hope people are prepared for this much rain overnight. Stay safe, everyone.

Saw video from Rockport.. trees have no leaves.. you know that's a really bad sign for big damage potential.
