Meyer land has at least 50 families they are just starting to try to rescue.

Sienna Plantations needs to evacuate mandatory.

Currently the cells over Houston are not that heavy compared to what was seen the other night. I'm looking at around 1 in/hour in some spots, Pearland/Friendswood area is heavier upwards of 2-3"/hr on the south side of Houston.

Not disputing that but want to give a sense of proportion to what's already occurred. Could get worse this afternoon certainly.

So the NHC expects Harvey to be over water for 2 days before it makes another landfall. Yeah I know the waters are not as warm and all but 2 days is a long
time to get reorganized a bit. IMO

Harvey redeveloping rain bands around the center and giving us a pretty good serving right now. My gauge says 2 inches per hour.

That's what I think too. I wouldn't be surprised if it bumps up at least another 15mph over water in that time..

its definitely appears on radar its trying to make some sort of a come back even though it still half over land.. once it fully moves offshore we will know what its capable of doing.
