KHOU reported the death of a family of six near Green's Bayou. Not officially confirmed but multiple family members saying it as the driver apparently escaped.

If you are in any of the voluntary and mandatory evacuation areas in Fort Bend County….you need to leave immediately. There are pumping issues in Sienna Plantation and it is likely that some of the levees will be overtopped. Follow directions of local emergency officials

Can you provide me with the copy paste from the email? It's been requested from someone living in the area.

Don't know if this helps, hopefully so-

Local stations are saying landfall Weds AM in Pt Arthur. What does that mean for flooding for this area (Bmt)? Will the heavy rains be on us or to the east?

I'm guessing this may be where NHC is getting pressure data.

Holy cow at the subdivisions he is listing that will be impacted by flooding. About 35 neighborhoods if I counted correctly.

Just count on a lot more rain. You should be to the west of the center, but just west. Somewhat worse to the east, but don't count on it. If storm consolidates just a little bit, you'll see some of that mass around the center rotating convection around the north and toward the west at landfall. Storm is trying to regain structure now. Thus the blow up north of center on shore. Just count on more rain with a landfalling storm in your immediate area.

I am in on the border on Brookshire and Katy in waller county. We have recieved between 30-35 inches of rain. By the grace of God my home and many others dont have water in them. We need good news that this is going to clear out to the east and fast. What do guys have to tell me? Things are so close as we speak that it makes me sick to even talk about it. We need some good news. Thanks.

Experienced weather channel guy (been there for years, can't remember name), just stated what we've been noticing on radar loops. Said he's becoming increasingly concerned with what he's seeing on radar with Harvey now right along the coast. Mentioned "bursting" with regards to t-storms. Mentioned areas from Houston down south. It looks bad yall. Radar showing constant training of moisture up from coast and around center. This does not look like its going to let up anytime soon. Harvey being along the coast has shifted everything again. It looked like today might be something of a break for Houston and SE Texas. But its ratcheting up now. Looks like a long 48 hours ahead.

Center dropping south at a decent clip for some weird reason. Putting a little distance from.the coast.

Could be reorganizational thing. Path of least resistance, and all that.

Just no way to sugarcoat deliberately flooding hundreds of homes.

Yeppers. Also the trough has passed it by could be a quick low level ridge building in behind it.

Thinking, have areas around Houston neared the 40 inch mark?? Saying that, cause looking at radar, with Harvey in coastal waters now, and moisture feed growing again, they could easily get another 20 inches in the next 48 hours.

Yep that is what our local radar is showing and what me and other seasoned observers are seeing. The rain is non-stop and mostly moderate to heavy now. Winds, even 50 miles from the coast are gusting to TS force with sustained in the 20s-30s during heavier squalls. Just announced massive evacuations west of Addicks and Barker Dams in West Houston.
Our airports are closed till Thursday except for emergency traffic. I could go on and on.
My family is safe so far.

Could potentially mean that Lousiana will be more in play if that trend continues. Also could give it more time over water and allow for more re-strengthening.

Dayton is within an inch last I checked and Clear Creek at I-45 is also getting very close.
