I'd wager he's going to try to wrap that swath of convection around his core here soon.

Nothing really showing up on the IR....... looks like a big naked swirl to me... maybe it will later on though.. I keep looking at the IR for any significant convection buildup...

Surface pressure at the Galveston bay buoy is down to ~1002 MB
No hot towers over the central vort(yet) and the pressure there is probably not that much lower.
Dry air might just be temporarily delaying redevelopment.
A lot further off shore than the NAM had it though.

:uarrow: Yes, unfortunately convection is gradually building again near the center. Also seeing developing spiral bands which are beginning to rotate back on shore.

It's there, tops are being blown north / ne. Looks at the same loop I provided but change to band 11 (all the way to 11). :D

Echos also showing up on radar.

It would appear so, he's starting to regenerate.

I think so. Even without the deep convection. Sub-tropical look--large circulation field... think you will see winds increase through the night. Nice tight vortex.

I read earlier a possible 4 feet of surge, all of our bayous are full, we drain to Clear Lake and the Bay....I'm afraid another 4 feet and continued rain could be bad for those of us who have been high and dry in the CL area....

Thoughts?

edited to add, the lake is way over it's banks...there really is nowhere else for any water to go...all the bayous are FULL.

It looked like he was starting to refire the last satellite loop I saw, with some convection starting fire up around the LLC.

Pretty deep reds there. Bet there is some tornadic vortices embedded within.
