The inner vort might be rolling around the larger center.

Surface pressure at the buoy off Galveston really plunged as the inner vort approached.

Yeah, I still think this is going to pack a little more of a pop on landfall than some think. Definitely moving NNE. Storms trying to wrap around the northern and eastern semi-circle around center.

Anybody down there that has been watching the news have any info on the main road closures (I'll be coming down from the north trying to get to Pearland)? My first batch of claims look to be very severe so I'm hoping and get them closed as soon as possible so these people can get money in there hands to begin to rebuild

two links I've seen posted for road closure info:

center less ragged looking. More of a clean neat look. Still think there will be a healthy sampling of 65mph winds tomorrow morning along the coast.

Looks like Harvey has decided to put on the brakes for now.

Sat image still implies movement. If you put your cursor in the center of the hole at the beginning, and then compare to the last position of the hole, still looks like movement. But radar is better at this stage. And more up to date. If a stall would occur, not good on several levels. First, continued rain, and then time for strengthening. Will wait to see if you are right.

Looks fairly on certain that the center is drifting southeast once again.
