A lot of ridge out there...pay close attention to the progression of the trough in the Pacific as it has been enhanced by the recurving WPAC typhoon.

EDIT: Watch the evolution of the trough over Canada. That is the one that counts.

If Irma manages to run the gauntlet and the EC loses the ridge for protection, this could spell serious trouble. I know it's early in the game but something to follow closely. :spam:
