Well, that's a big NOPE. By the wind direction (now NW soon to to be W), I should have known it's not quite there yet.

gusting to 133 kts.. probably more on the sustained side.. they are all experiencing crazyines.. whoever is there..

I hate to say this but I think there's a real possibility Irma claims more casualties before it even gets to the US than Harvey did in total. For many people in its path there is simply nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.

I can no longer access the NOAA page that was showing the current wind speeds for Barbuda. Anyone else experiencing this?

went down to 93.. it missed the peak winds.. good for the islands.. its about to enter the eye briefly.

Yes, but it was loading any NOAA page. It is now responding. Winds and pressure looking to be steadying... Waters rising...
