I see this all the time in posts then quoted replies but I never see the tweet! So frustrating
I don't want to use an app, I'm using Safari on the latest version of iOS.....
What causes this to happen?

Something a few posters started doing a few months ago. Instead of pasting the actual information, they embed a link to it. I have all of that kind of thing blocked, so all I see are blank posts. Kind of annoying, but since the posters don't seem to care, I just skip over them.

All modern browsers should support tweets, it's embedding the tweet on the page. It's a great way to quickly spread information rather than have to copy and paste everything.
It should look like this (image of an s2k page with tweet):

I can click on the link and tell it to open in another tab, but when there are 6-8 tweet links in a row I just give up. I don't know what setting changes it

I added a link to the tweet underneath each "tweet". Hopefully that helps.
