Is it my imagination or is Irma following closer to the last GFS forecast track?

Yes, for now is closer to the 06z GFS run.

Thanks NDG. I miscalculated by a few miles!

Landfall point just misses Key West to the east. They still got pounded by the western eye wall.edge though.

Thanks NDG. It's been an exhausting week and at least I got 7 hours sleep finally. Going to be a long night!

I'm not sure where this guy is. Somewhere in the lower keys. Idiotic really.

Big Pine and Marathon didn't however. I worry about the 7 mile bridge now...

Are those still original or have the been replaced/updated/reinforced?

They were updated. About 15 years ago!

I worry about some of the older pilings getting hit with the 20 ft. + waves.

115 kts is 130mph and 120 kts is 140 mph. They would rarely use 135 anymore, although 115kts can easily be used for both 130 and 135 mph.
