Looks mostly north last three hours...HWRF and GFS have landfall in Naples around 2 pm. That seems likely based on recent radar trends.

There are several hundred thousands without power in area. Irresponsible...

Couldn't the perceived northward "movement" be a case of the corkscrew type twists that eye's take as a hurricane moves?

It's probably just a wobble. But at zero hour, a 25 mile wobble has huge implications for the immediate area as well as areas downstream.

If that is the case, then I hope for landfall over Cape Sable and mainland Monroe, to keep the intense eyewall over relatively unpopulated areas & the Everglades.
