I grew up in Wylie! Now live right off Lake Ray Hubbard in Garland. I'm about to have to drive to Wylie to pick up my kids and am praying the roads aren't too terrible!

bridges will probably be the main concern, just take it slow. The alley behind the house is still wet so most of the surface streets are probably ok

Yeah I just went outside and walked around for a few minutes, the street is fine. Only thing iced is my car and elevated surfaces. So I'm sure it's just the bridges I have to be concerned with. I'll avoid the one going over lake ray Hubbard on George Bush lol. Today is not the day for an article plunge if I spin out lol!

Yeah, I see. 00Z run had DFW below zero with highs in the single digits on the 14th. 12Z has DFW in the mid 30s the same day. Safe to say there is a tad of uncertainty beyond the next 3-4 days.

It's a balmy 52 degrees at my home in SW Houston at present. I was just laying out in the back yard in my swimsuit working on my tan. Clouds aren't helping, though.

Well so far this season DFW has had a mini-sleetstorm, a mini-flurry storm, a mini-freezing rainstorm followed by another mini-flurry storm. This is just cruel. The definition of a tease. Granted, the cold has been great but come on man?????
