Welcome back, Luis. Everyone was worried about you.
It's been a rough hurricane season for the Caribbean. Irma for us in St Maarten, definitely a CAT 5. Maria for you in Puerto Rico, also a CAT 5.
and Maria also in Dominica.
Powerful storms causing much damage in all of these islands..
But we survived and we will recover in time.

Welcome back, Luis! I'm glad you're back safe and sound and that your family is ok. How is PR doing overall and do you think the state and federal gov. have done/are doing enough?

Welcome back Sir glad to hear you and your family are safe. I have a client who works for FEMA and is stationed somewhere on the island. He said pictures do not compare to actually being on the island. I can't even imagine what you and your family went through and still years to go unfortunately. Harvey had only 90 mph gust here in S. TX and kinda startled me.

Thanks for the words. Is going slow the recovery as still more than half of the population does not have power. At least the majority have water. FEMA has not been too fast here as still many people that lost a home sill as of November 27 dont have tarps to protect them from the rains at the homes that were partially destroyed.

Great to see you.I can tell you that still there are around 500,000 without power and things are going slow on the recovery as thousands are still without the blue tarps and many are without a home almost 4 months since Maria strucked this island.

A couple days ago, an explosion in one of the substations of the electric company here in Barbados, caused an island wide power outage which lasted several hours in some areas. It was most inconvenient (except for those with solar panels, of course). So, it's really hard to imagine what it's like to be without power for months. It must be very tough for many in Puerto Rico.
