watch is SE of DFW

They butted the watch up against DFW but SPC meso analysis shows supercell composite of 8-12+ across DFW. Any storm thar fires along the front could quickly go svr. The bigger show today will be across the Ohio Valley in the MOD risk area.

We are carefully monitoring the storms developing to our northwest, and the shortwave ejecting out of Mexico. It looks like a busy late afternoon and evening for Southeast Texas including the Houston Metro area. Everyone be safe and monitor weather conditions closely.

DFW area is on the very back edge of the watch, and with the front slicing through Tarrant Co currently I look for most of the activity to be well east and south of the metro area

We have liftoff right now. Would not be surprised to see warnings for Dallas and Collin counties soon.

Front has blown through here in DT FTW, gusty NW wind and a nice temp drop behind it. Looking to the east out the back side of our building (3rd Fl) I can see some rain showers off in the distance around the I-30/East 820 interchange.

I saw about 3 little hail pellets here by Richland college in Richardson as the storm is blowing through - nothing major but just FYI to folks downstream, it might get stronger.

The sirens went off here, there may have been a small spin up just south of me.
