My posts are my own personal opinion, defer to the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and other NOAA products for decision making during hurricane season.

Colors of lost purpose on the canvas of irrelevance
Not a meteorologist, in fact more of an idiot than anything. You should probably check with the NHC or a local NWS office for official information.

It was never a doubt in my view he was a cane once the eye popped and cleared out on satellite imagery.

FL winds are marginal at best though. SFMR readings may not be valid. Waiting for the east semi-circle though

Re: ATL: CHRIS - Tropical Storm - Discussion
Recon largely confirming the satellite trends we've seen this afternoon after seeing 88kt flight level winds. Eye continues to remain clear with the mesoscale sector on Chris showing convection continuing to stack in the northeastern quadrant, though it appears the SE quadrant has the largest radii.

I agree with 75 kt for the current intensity. Will they just wait for 5 pm or issue an update?

Re: ATL: CHRIS - Tropical Storm - Discussion
A DT of 4.5 corresponds to about a 75 kt intensity. Not too bad.
