I am not a meteorologist, and any posts made by me are not official forecasts or to be interpreted as being intelligent. These posts are just my opinions and are probably silly opinions.

No buoys are in the direct center of the path, but there are a few in the path of the storm's edge - 51002 and 51407.

Think NW to NNW turn has begun... Interested to see if the CPHC adjusts the track N because it appears Lane is moving a little faster than the forecast.

Orographic rainfalls are going to be a huge deal, especially on the east side of Lane's circulation.

The eye is cooling and the storm is not as well organized as it was earlier. This is weakening just very slowly due to only 10-20 knots of shear.
