What? This is not correct.

I see no signs of vorts being spit out anywhere.

I don't see any vorts being spit out either. What I do see is that the convection that was trying to wrap the center a while ago now appears to be diminishing. Is it the fact it is moving away from radar or is anyone else seeing this? Definite WNW movement for now which I don't like.

I think he may be talking about a collapse of an old center and formation of a new one NW of the old one seen in Tampa radar.

I saw a circ out ahead of the storm west of the main storm center.

Looks like the TPW feed from the Carib is no longer being pinched off by Cuba.
Could start to ramp up a little earlier than I thought.
Hot tower fired off SE of the CoC within the last half hour.

Yes, around 2mb. Pretty impressive considering there has been very little in the way of convective blow-ups.

Rapid fire towers as the upper troposphere starts to cool off approaching dusk.

Drop in the north mid GOM, sampling the shear axis.
Or should I say, the NOT-Shear Axis

Spewing some serious cirrus.
Going to be game changer and Recon has a front row seat.
Wish they had their radar available to see.

Until there are more intense thunderstorms firing over the center, there will not be too much deepening.

Hope the models have the lower shear environment factored in.
