Storm is still over 200 miles from landfall....enough said.

No doubt. Lots of the models last night intensified it tonight heading into landfall. That may be right or it might not. I’ve seen and been under invests blowing up right at landfall over the years, so you don’t know. Unless some of the southern tracks verify, which is highly doubtful, most of the weather should be Hancock county and points east. We are ready in case we get anything. I do expect a few bands and some off and on rain today, so I’m staying tuned.

I don't have it, but I'll try to watch from one of the kids' accounts. Just hit it up when you go live, and I'll figure out how to get there. The link you posted says "link broken" but I'm not sure if maybe that's because it's just not active yet. Either way, I'll keep an eye out.

It looks like Gordon has moved into a favorable environment. Clouds around LLC thickening and outflow now moving south of the LLC.

I have to say, I pegged this all wrong. Was pretty positive it would be a Cat 2 at landfall

Looks like Gordon did take a good NW jog and if that continues you could be looking at a slightly more eastward landfall maybe near the MS/AL border. Just my opinion of course.

It is fortunate that Gordon is such a small storm, so the storm surge shouldn't be too severe. Looks like the NHC is predicting only 1-3 feet of inundation

Still think you could see #Gordon intensify in the last one or two hours before landfall if not before. Looks like it may wind up near the coast. Friction of land could help that chance

wear3tv is out of Pensacola, but coverage won't be as extensive as the other channels.
