people would be interested in posting about tropical cyclones that occur elsewhere in the world? Like say for instance the Western Pacific, South Pacific, North and South Indian Oceans?

The tropics don't stop when the Atlantic Season concludes.

I will occasionally look at other parts of the world once the ATL season has concluded, but most of my attention will be towards the upcoming winter season and in particular, the Southeastern Portion of the US.

after this season the tide turns more local for me...as I liv in Australia and our season officially starts around the time the Atlantic finishes...so i will have things to post about our season.

I will be definately following this forum. I wouldn't think I would have too much to add about the tropical cyclones occurring elsewhere.

There have been posts in regard to other tropical weather systems across the world in the last several weeks, too. :)

Although most of our forecasters attention will be focused on CONUS we will still have this forum up and running. Besides Mark in Australia ASLkahuna will probably be posting about the tropical cyclones that affect the
Western Pacific and Indian Ocean regions. We are an international board and will continue to strive to make it more that way.

Yeah guys this sounds real good! Having a problem letting the season come to an end. We all need a break every now and then but to go 7 months w/o the tropics does not make me a happy camper :cry: I am counting on this board to get me thru the off season!! Will look forward to learning about tropical weather else where and reading your posts...

I will keep checking in. Look forward to reading tropical updates throughout the fall/winter season, regardless of where the storms are.

I will check in, if for no other reason then to keep up with the trends and ENSO for next season. Winter is not overly exciting in FL.

TCVN is a weighted averaged
