O.K. I know this won't make some of you happy but I
think we can stick a fork into the 2003 hurricane season for the
U.S. mainland. IMO.
Stick a fork in it.

Even though I do think Texas is done for the season, I NEVER SAY NEVER!!! I still remember rushing back to Houston on Oct. 30, 1989()or at least that weekend)to get everyone home safely before Hurricane Jerry hit. On my side of town it was a nothing, but on the East side it was a minimal hurricane. Persoanlly, I think we will see at least 2 more systems this year, with at least one coming out of the Caribbean and eventually affecting FL. Nothing scientific here, just my thoughts.
