A large Tsunami struck Indonesia today following a damaging M 7.5 Earthquake, leaving people missing and heavy destruction. This doesn't look good at all, there may be large aftershocks or even other large quakes in the region over the next few days. Indonesia tends to get large quakes following other large quakes, so things could remain dangerous over there as September ends.

yeah the videos are similar to the 2004 event in severity, but in a much smaller area. Despite that, the death toll keeps rising and at an alarming rate, I'm afraid it might near 1000.

Maybe related to the earthquake. Soputan volcano on the northern part of Sulawesi island, some 600km NE of Palu, has erupted.
