By default, the current Youtube URL contains https, just remove the s and the embedding code should function properly.

From my limited understanding of how computers work, the server load would be on YouTube, not Storm2K. It would really be great if they fixed the issue.

That was in 2015. Hover over the Youtube button and the tool tip explains how to embed.

Use the share link on YT, copy the youtu.be link. This will not work on mobile, must use the desktop version.
