That's a pretty big squall line out in west-central TX heading toward SAT/AUS and DFW. You've only had scattered stuff out ahead of the main squall line in the D-FW area so far.

We looking at mainly wind gusts and heavy rain in the big squall line, or are there reports of hail? Car is currently parked outside...

It was relatively too cool and too cloudy to begin with for a true severe weather outbreak in North Texas today (good thing). In general severe weather events this year have mostly under performed but the rain is true to form. Very windy.

53.81" at the airport so far, good enough for #2

Dew point is 67 where I am. Temps have been in the upper 60’s with wind gusting to 30mph off and on all day with an off and on heavy mist. It’s plenty warm and juicy here where I am, but it looks like I might be too far south to see much in the way of any severe stuff here.

The squall line out west looks pretty weak till you get south of I-10 south of Junction.. doesn’t really look like much in the way of anything severe going on as of now.

Looks like it’s picking up steam as it moves east.

54.89" of rain now. The stuff west of FW may get us over 55". 1991 stood for 20+ years, in the span of the last 4 years we have broken it twice.
