you are correct Sir, storm are moving along to the East south of the stationary front, while single cells are moving up to the NE :double:

Ohh ok, I knew I wasn’t just seeing things lol. Any chance those cells moving up to the NE make it to the DFW area?

I don't know if DFW proper can sustain the storms, but they will continue to try. I think the complex will blossom on the N side as it moves into E TX though as temps are 5-10 degrees warmer over here vs DFW.

The storm S of Iraan has that supercell look to it.

Five and a half years ago I was but a wee 11th grader who was overly enthusiastic about the weather. I joined this forum to learn more about the weather and chat with others like me. I've learned so much from this site and a lot of you here. I always brag about this forum when appropriate and about how smart it's users are. College was definitely a roller coaster, I faced many hardships, had some great times. Never got the snowstorm I wanted, but it definitely got frigid more than a few times. :froze: Time really has flown by. Seems like yesterday I was graduating high school in the Texas heat. I was about to invoke on an adventure I'd never forget. Well that is one chapter that is about to close in my life, and another one is about to begin.

Congratulations! Good luck to you in your future endeavors. Grad school or going straight to work?

Grad school is something I won't rule out in the future, but I need a good break from academics so I'll be job searching in a few days.

Well, today was a big old fail. Heavy rain W. Heavy rain E. Big dome over Austin.

One more day tomorrow. Lets hope we can get 3-4" ! The models have been very bad because of all the boundaries! No organized system.

Very frustrating...really hope we can get some good rain tomorrow! Short-range models have been useless all day.

We got a rainstorm late yesterday afternoon, and again early this morning, bringing our total this week so far to 0.75".

Storm chances will continue today as another system approaches the region. These storms will have a potential to produce heavy rainfall and localized flooding. A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect across parts of North Texas. Continue to stay tuned for updates!

Bellville and Eagle Lake are getting absolutely hammered right now. Both storms look to have a tornado.
