Austin area is about to get in on some moderate rain over the next couple hours. Probably will push totals to 7” in some spots.

Huge storms to the west and north of y’all. Even saw a purple cell in one of the storms near Graham earlier.

What an awesome MCS for south central TX! Most areas got over 1 inch of rain, with some seeing much more than that!

Meanwhile. I have gotten 2" since yesterday.lol. But over 1" of that was over the past few hours in moderate to heavy spurts. The training of heavy storms where Haris is happened just to my south it looks like.

Compared to forecast DFW airport this past week was a dud. A little over 1" at the station for the week, which is not terrible, but not the 3-6" or greater. There were sites around that did pick up those totals but localized.

Re: Texas Spring 2019
A lot in DFW didn’t get close to the forecast. Big hole over eastern Tarrant and western Dallas up to Carrollton.
Even most areas that saw more got around 3, great, but not like the crazy numbers.
Oh well, better than nothing. DFW made up the winter deficit.
Rain keeps the death ridge at bay.

Personally, the way things have gone the last couple of years, I think we need to rename our seasonal topics Texas Spring Complaints, Texas Winter Complaints, etc.
With a good dose of Model Run Complaints.

It’s crazy how quiet this place gets when DFW isn’t the center of attention lol this place seriously needs more people from other parts of Texas besides DFW.

Non-winter threads have always been slow as compared to our annual Wxman57 wintertime battles.
And it’s simply a beautiful spring weekend where most people are out actually enjoying the weather.
